The John Taolo Gaetsewe Developmental Trust (JTGDT) is a Public Benefit Organisation committed to promoting sustainable socio-economic development within the John Taolo Gaetsewe District Municipality in the Northern Cape. Since 2004, the Trust has successfully managed its Bursary Programme, providing financial assistance to academically deserving, financially disadvantaged students from the district.

Residents of the JTG District

The JTGD Trust is a Public Benefit Organisation supporting academically deserving, financially disadvantaged students from the John Taolo Gaetsewe District Municipality.

Required documents:

  • Certified copy of your ID document
  • Certified copy of your Matric certificate or latest Statement of Results
  • Proof of residence (obtained at the municipality)
  • Proof of income, or a sworn affidavit if unemployed
  • Academic transcript (if you're already studying at a tertiary institution)
  • Proof of acceptance / admission letter from your chosen institution (once you have one)
  • Financial need letter (if requested as part of your application)
  • Medical certificate of disability (if applicable)
  • Previous year's Statement of Results (if beyond your first year of study)
